The Vultr team is back from GTC 2024, where we had an incredible time. As one of the most anticipated tech gatherings of the year, GTC provided an exceptional platform for innovation, collaboration, and networking – and Vultr seized every opportunity to stand out.
By the numbers
- 20 Lightning Talks at our booth: Our booth was a hub of knowledge and engagement, as we hosted insightful Lightning Talks” that engaged attendees and sparked meaningful discussions.
- Three incredible partner presentations: By collaborating with partners like Console Connect, DDN, and Seaplane, we showcased groundbreaking solutions and forged strategic alliances to drive innovation.
- Countless connections: Beyond the numbers, GTC served as a fertile ground for forging new partnerships, fostering relationships, and exploring avenues for growth.
- Two great prizes. We also gave two lucky winners a Jetson Orion Dev Kit and one month of early access to the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper™ Superchip.
Inference is the new web app
Our CMO, Kevin Cochrane, also delivered a presentation examining how enterprises are beginning to re-envision employee- and customer-facing web apps to power them with new generative AI services. As we enter a new 10-year cycle for cloud compute, we need a new global application and infrastructure model to support GPU and AI at the core of all cloud-native services and applications. At this talk, attendees learned how a platform engineering team and approach can accelerate a multiyear roadmap to enterprise GPU and generative AI success. Watch the entire presentation here.
Meet Morty
We also introduced our newest crew member: Morty, the Himalayan vulture! Morty was a hit at GTC and even met Nvidia’s president and CEO, Jensen Huang (pictured above). Morty is ready to fly!
