Since officially launching back in May, our team has been busy working with developers around the world to build out Vultr Marketplace.
Today we wanted to highlight some new apps and the Arch Linux distribution, along with enhancements to ease vendor submissions.
Vultr Marketplace allows independent software vendors to directly distribute their software via Vultr. Over the past few months, a number of vendors have submitted their applications to us. These are just some of the apps that we've added in Vultr Marketplace since launch.
We created an image of the Arch Linux Operating System and published it on Vultr Marketplace making it easier to deploy with 1-click to a Vultr VPS or Bare Metal server. Arch Linux adheres to the KISS principle and is focused on simplicity, modernity, pragmatism, user centrality, and versatility. Check it out, and stay tuned for more OS flavors to come! Cloud-init comes automatically installed with the following Vultr operating systems:
If you make software (especially open source!), we really encourage you to submit to Vultr Marketplace. With over a million registered users, Vultr can help you reach more customers around the globe. And, unlike other Marketplaces, we don't collect any revenue from your participation in Vultr Marketplace.
Vultr Marketplace is growing fast, and it's super easy to deploy any app within it.
