We are an authorized Training Facility for American Sailing Association (ASA) and teach ASA Certification courses accepted by sailing schools and charter companies around the world.
Courses are conducted by ASA Certified Captains who are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Class sizes are from 3 to 6 students each.
We train over 300 students each year in our sailing classes !

ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing .............................. $275 (Prerequisites: None)
This is ASA's introduction course in which you will learn the fundamentals of sailing. It is designed for those who have never sailed or have limited experience. This is a 2-day class, Saturday & Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
- ADDITIONAL CLASSES IN THE AUSTIN, TEXAS AREA -
During 2002, we will be conducting additional ASA 101 classes on Lake Travis.
Classes are Saturday and Sunday, 9 to 5. Call for details and class schedules.
ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising .......................... $650 (Prerequisite: Course 101)
In this 3-day course, you will live aboard a fully equipped sailboat and develop a 'sailing sense' of what cruising involves. You'll learn the fundamentals of coastal cruising while sailing the Texas Coast and staying in various marinas.
ASA 104 Bareboat Chartering.................................. $650 (Prerequisite: Course 103)
With your ASA Bareboat Certification, you can bareboat charter 35-50 foot sailboats
from charter companies around the world!
During this 3-day live aboard course, you will develop the skills necessary to captain your own bareboat charter.
You will advance your sailing knowledge, learn to manage the on-board systems of a large yacht and develop navigation skills to safely bareboat charter in cruising grounds around the world. You will also learn to navigate using GPS.
ASA 105 Coastal Navigation ..................................... $250 (No prerequisites)
In this course, you will learn how to navigate using the standard methods of navigation including Deductive Reckoning, Line of Position and others. This course is a combination of home-study and 1/2-day classroom instruction/examination.
